DeWALT Repair Center

Anyone to repair wood casement windows?

I have some wood casement windows that have wet-rotted along the bottom sash and stiles (i.e. the part that holds the actual glass and pivots, not the jamb and sash that are fixed to the house). Is there anyone out there with the skill to repair these, so I don't have to replace them with ugly...

block plane repair

My Record 060-1/2 block plane has a loose knob on the blade feed adjuster. It's a steel screw with brass knob just pressed on the splined end. When I try to feed the blade forward, the knob is pushed off. Any cheap, simple fix? Roger
