Coffee table by stoneskippers. Woods are QS Sycamore and Walnut. Walnut in top is inserted using tongue and groove. Legs are through tennons and made of two pieces of Walnut each. Bottom shelf is reverse pattern of top.
I would like to get a simple small coffee table (shaker style)... or just table top, made out of some cherry boards that were cut on my property about 10 years ago. Does not need to be finished - just put together. I do not have the tools to do it.

Made of QS sycamore and walnut. The legs are tenoned through the top iwth a wedge for extra security. The lower shelf still needs another coate of finish.

I posted a few weeks ago asking about wax finishes. Well I messed around with the top of this table to long and got fustrated so I just started over.
I like the result....
Finish is a bit of oil. Sealed with shelllac. 3 coats of lacquer. THIN coat of wax :lol:
