Not sure if this has already been done or not, but I thought it would be interesting to see what's on everyone's "want list" for Christmas when it comes to woodworking stuff ...

Maybe we can each name the top few on our list .... I'll start.

1. Good Lathe Chisels Set
2. A Quality Bowl Gouge
3. Lathe Caliper Set

What do you want?

My list was short, a few odds and ends- rabbet plane, Wixey height gauge, sailing gloves, and just gift certificates to Woodcraft/Rockler. My wants are getting fewer and those I have are getting more expensive, plus it makes it hard on my family when I buy the things I want/need throughout the year.

Wants:
1. Mike Wenzloff DT saw
2. Alan's planer (either one :))
3. Performax

I'm not gonna get any of those...just want em.

I already picked up an early present, a Ridgid spindle sander to make BS boxes for Christmas gifts. Iam going to buy a vintage (economical) DT saw after New Year's day.

An outbuilding for my new house, prewired with 220v, cat5 cable, heated and with a exhaust fan. Big enough to hold a ton of stock and all the machinery.

I agree with Reggie. These would be the greatest gifts any of us could receive. Merry Christmas!

Oh wait you weren't asking for a wish list.

The LOML graduating college was a great gift.

Mostly the health an wellbeing of my daughter and grandson. I wont say what I wish on the biological father though.

Hope you all have a great Christmas

LOL...
Well..since the LOML does not know much about tools, I get a budget and then have to do my own tool shopping.

I feel like this is going to be a very good year. :eusa_danc
I had 200.00 to play with for my Christmas presents..
I got the Ridgid Oscillating belt and Spindle sander from Craigslist for 100.00. (It had about an hour of use on it.)
I got the Dewalt DW682K biscuit joiner for 94.50 from the deal at Lowes.

And with the extra, I went to Woodcraft and picked up a nice 9" bench vise while they are on sale. Threw in a little of my own money to cover the difference.
Oh darn...did I got over just a little? (Never was great at math..) :drunken_s

Reggie,
You hit the nail on the head for all the above. As for me, I have all that I could ask for. A wonderful family, a great shop (Maybe only my Vote, but its mine), wonderful woodworking friends and a Lord that Loves me! Kinda hard to ask for more! Merry Christmas everyone! :icon_thumTerry
