Jeff, good for you jumping on the hottest new potato in the browser wars :)

I've seen the same problem in 3.0.11 since the big site upgrade in June.

We'll dig a bit. My guess is the Message Editor window and/or the Smilies has some fixed dimensions when they should be dynamic.

I run a 12 year old 13" monitor, so I can't comment on Chads uber-screen :)

It has never been dynamic. It was smaller, but I amde it approx the same the smile box underneath. Change the number of columns in the smilie box display and then change the width in the main CSS. You could make it releative there and see how that works

As often as i was being notified of upgrades - I thought I was using Interweb Exploder there for a little while. And I thought I had been upgraded to the latest and greatest FF. Thanks for the heads up. I'm off to restart now.

Jim, keep digging and you will find the answer. But for now, 3.5 is really much faster, kinda like the fasterfox of old:thumbs_up:thumbs_up

Never let it be said I don't get round-2it eventually.

I believe I have fixed the issue Jeff reported way back when. :XXcompute

The gray "Message:" box in both "Reply" and "New Thread" actions should now fit without extending under the ad's on the right hand side of the page.

If anyone has a few seconds to test, I'd really appreciate it.

In particular, anyone brave enough to be running Internet Explorer. I've tested on Firefox and Opera.

Thanks,
Jim

Just downloaded FF 3.5 and it works better than 3.0. At least in this site, the similie box kind of jutted out to the right, now it is all lined up. I like the "Open new tab" button too. Sweet!:icon_thum
