Hi All,
Sometime in the dim dark past I built a router table using plans from Woodsmith circa 1985 or so. Every piece I've built since then was done using this table. Here it is
It uses holes cut in Duron hardboard for "snap-rings" and is drilled for a Sears Craftsman or Makita 3612BR...
I've been looking at getting a benchtop mortiser for awhile, so while visiting Woodcraft (Greenville, SC) Wednesday afternoon I bit the bullet and pre-ordered the Powermatic #701 benchtop mortiser. Woodcraft will soon be hosting a 10%-off sale soon, with the ealiest pre-sale date of 6/18 --...

All cut up and sealed. I'll cut bowl...

I get to visit a lot of cool tool stores in my job travels. I was in a store in Nashville (before the flood) and they sell scratch and dent tools. I have wanted one of these for a while now and the owner cut me a really great deal being I am in the business. It is the Jet bench model OSS. I...
My blushing bride of 17 yrs got me a crosscut sled.
The guard is removed only for the picture. Note the power cord across the table saw, indicating I would not use the saw with the planer rolled that close.
