I need this groups assistance. I have a Delta Midi (Mini) Lathe that has a live tail end that is not spinning freely. I believe a bearing has gone out due to the LOUD squeal that comes from it sometimes.
Where would I find a replacement/ upgrade to the original? :notworthy:

I went to "The Hardwood Store" in Gibsonville and found some really cool "Curly Wormy Maple". They also had ONE sheet of 3/4" plywood veneer Birds-eye Maple. I used the ply wood for the bottom shelve. I think they came out very nice.

About 1.5" x 2.25" Turned end grain, AO and buffed. Yes the lid does have that "Pop" This was a small cut off from the bowl I turned for the Museum for Scott S.
The tops for these end tables are made from American Chestnut that my father salvaged from a turn of the century house located in Sylva, NC. The table stretchers and legs are made from Redwood salvaged from an old school sign in Haywood County, NC.

I know this is a simple question for most, but how are the pieces positioned with each option for turning? I just read some thing and just want to confirm, the end grain is where you cut the wood and where the bark is that is the side grain?
A little over a year ago I finished this coffee table, last weekend I finally finished end tables to go with the coffee table. Next year I hope to finish the matching hall table. Thought I would share some pictures...the tables are unique if nothing else!
