    I just finished making this red oak Morris chair for my niece for Christmas. Even made the cushions! Got my wife to teach me how to use her sewing machine and I took it from there. Got to learn a lot on this project! Merry Christmas everyone!

    Hmm..... don't know why it is rotated. The back is pinned with Oak turned on my lathe, then has three adjustable positions by moving the Oak pins in the arms.

    Woodrat: Any opinions?

    Out of curiosity, I ordered the Woodrat DVD and have enjoyed watching it. I seem to remember that one of you guys over in Raleigh has one. It looks interesting but $800 for a "jig" is a lot of "sawdust"! Do any of you have experience using a Woodrat, and if so, is it worth the investment?
