Thanks for posting that. He sounds a lot like my old woodshop teacher back in 70's. It's great to hear that there are passionate folks out there who refuse to settle for second best and are teaching our young folks to excell at something other than an I-pod or a video game. Mr. Yow teaches at my son's high school. His program is amazing. I wish he taught a summer class for adults! :eusa_clap

If I had a wife and kids, I'd be sure to send them to his school.

What he does for and with those kids is just astounding.

To top it off, he's a super nice guy!

This isn't the first post about Mr. Yow and his amazing students. They have been winning awards for a number of years :icon_thum Makes me wish I was in high school again :mrgreen:

I'm impressed, not only by Mr. Yow, but the fact that a high school still even has a ww program! That is a great story. I wish more schools would see the benefit!
