Need Plans for Cedar lined Chest

Hi Y'all, does anyone have any or know where I can find some plans for a cedar lined oak chest? I have been wanting to make one for some time now and might be able to squeeze in some time to finally build one. Thanks. Steve

What kind of style are you interested in? You can very easily make a traditional "6 board chest" out of Oak and line it with Cedar. Or you could go more modern with a frame and panel (raised or not) chest and line it too.
You are building a box, pretty simple. I would design it myself, but if that's not your thing there are tons of free plans available on the web -

Hi Steven,
I agree with Daveo on using your own design. I usually start with a plan to get general dimensions and then add my own finishing touches. I have found this site http://www.freeww.com/ to have some very good base plans to begin with.
