Christmas found my daughter [STRIKE]blessed[/STRIKE] spoiled by her grandmother. She was the recipient of 4 of the "coveted" Zhu Zhu pets (robotic rodents).
She asked me if I could make her a house for them all, and she wanted to help. I told her to draw me what she wanted me to make. She did and gave me the "blue page" which is what she calls a blueprint :gar-Bi
We set off to the store to get her a hammer she could handle, I was afraid that my 22 oz. framing hammer might be too much for her. We found her a 7 oz. hammer....I'll probably be painting it pink later.
Hammering didn't go over so well with her, she didn't like the noise when she missed the nail, and she didn't have very good aim either.
But like her dad, she did take a shinin' to the nail gun.....
Needless to say, but I did most of the work, maybe in a few years she will have more interest in woodworking.
But I did spend a few hours in my shop with my most favorite girl and she got somewhere to house her Zhu Zhu pet infestation....
