This was posted on the Felder woodworking site this morning and I thought I would pass it on. If you have a saw big enough to handle this size blade and it uses a blade length of 167 or less, it is hard to pass up.
Tim Lory is my friend and a dealer for Laguna. He let me know today that they
got back 150 Kerf king carbide bandsaw blades 167" long from a sale that fell
apart. These are 1 1/4" blades 2Tpi. Pretty aggressive.
Anyway they are typically $1.73 an inch. He is selling them for $75 each. They
are cutting them and rewelding them for your balde size (as long as it is under
167") need for that same $75. He listed it on sawmillcreek in their deal and
discount section.
I told him I would be passing on the info.
If you are interested, call up Laguna Tools in California, USA, ask to speak to
Tim Lory, Tell him Mikie from Bloomington sent ya and that you are interested in
a $75 carbide bandsaw blade. That is about the cheapest I have seen on a blade
that long.
