After meeting up with Pete (NCPete) last Sunday I finally got give the Delta planer I got from him a test run today and I believe he got it from Yellowfins.

This is my first planer and was'nt sure what to expect but was very pleased with the job it did. Planed down a little cypress came out really smooth.

It looks like the planer was well cared for and has some good years left

If it was well cared for, it was all Ron's (Yellowfins) doing, I only had it for about 6 weeks

Bryan, I too have this planer ( along with a Delta 15", and a Delta/ Rockwell 13" that weighs a ton.) Soon, you will get tired of almost cutting your hands when liffting it, so go to Workbench Magazine a couple of years back and :-Dlook at my tip on slitting a garden hose and fastening it to the lip where your hand has to pick it up. Driil a couple of holes and zip tie the hose in place.
