Log sled?

Does anyone here have a plan for a log sled? I want to build something to take the weight off my shoulder and put it on the ground where it belongs. I envision a small light weight but very sturdy sled with tie down straps, runners and a large rope to allow easier pulling. Not trying to...

Free Crosscut Sled Plan

This month's Woodworker's Journal ezine had a free plan for a nice crosscut sled. It's simple and easy to modify if you want to. It also has some good tips for squaring it up. It's a nice alternative to the "supersled" versions if you don't need all the features.... Anyway, since it was free...

Raleigh area jig game - picture frame sled

Here is my picture frame sled using the UHMW PE material from EYEKODE for the runners. This is a fixed 45 degree miter jig that will, hopefully, allow me to make perfect 90 degree corners. This was the first time that I used this material but it won't be the last time. I really like the results...

Router Sled

Finally,:icon_cheers, I got a sled built for my router. It ain't nothing real purty fer ya'll to ohh and ahh over but it's at least a start. It's made from all "found" materials that I've been rat-holeing for some time now and trying to get my mind made up on how I was going to cobble this thing...
