This is a very important gathering for the emerging North Carolina Urban Forest Products Industry that has been forming over the last couple of years in the Asheville area. This group will link to the nationwide Urban Forest Products Alliance.
Urban forest product business owners, urban foresters, arborists, educa*tors, urban forest researchers, and advocates are invited to meet for the first time to promote the further growth and development of this industry in North Carolina and to set an agenda for the formation of the Urban Forest Products Association of North Carolina.
We have put together a fantastic collection of speakers from across the nation who represent top leaders in urban wood utilization. Speakers will be present to discuss the industry’s most critical issues including new business formation, certification of urban forest products, and how com*munity and governmental organizations can support the further develop*ment of the industry throughout North Carolina.
If you have any interest in North Carolina’s urban forests and how trees from those forests are used once they come down then this conference is a must-attend event.
