How many tries did it take to get the top valence right? Whenever I try cutting something like that I lose track of which side of the line I'm supposed to be on. Oops is just the first of many words when that happens.

Yup. Cut the pattern out on the scroll saw and shaped 'em with a file and sandpaper.
