Suggestions on Finishing a Cedar Deck

We have been working on building a deck and walkway at our church. We are at the point of putting a finish on it. We used PT for the framing and Western Red Cedar for the deck boards, facia and hand rails.
The general thought has been to stain the cedar with a color that would tie into the church brick color (reddish brown)
I would very much like to hear from someone that has experience with finishing a cedar deck. Looking for suggestion on a particular brand of product and any other pointers that might be helpful to us.

I have finished a deck with Beahr stain, not the translucent, in cedar. Two years later we just had to recoat the horizontals. We also had a pool tied to that deck and we lived in Ohio. (Think snow)

Sikkens is the best exterior finish I have ever used. Not cheap but worth twice the price. Available from Benj. Moore in Garner

+3 for Sikkems. I have it on 1500 sqft deck and only have touch up every 2 or three years, and recoat every 5-6.
