This is a simple box for a christmas present. This is considered "paint" grade at the shop where I build cabinets. I knew there was a reason I kept working there.

There's a big difference in what cabinetmakers consider good wood and what woodworkers consider good wood. That's a beautiful box, love the figure and the handle :eusa_clap :eusa_clap

With all that figured wood, I see why it is paint grade. No self respecting customer would want anything that looks like that, when they can get that bland melemine stuff at the BORG. All those people who painted their cabinets a couple of years back are now thinking of how pretty REAL WOOD is. I love it!

I would like to come get a truck load of that paint grade scrap. Really nice job on the box I like the figure and the handle just adds to the over all appearance.
