Got everything done that I planned to do-

186906

Had the leftover plywood from the previous top so it fit in the well.... waste not....

Everything in my shop is on wheels and finally found some that supposedly can handle 800#. So far they are pretty nice and it's easy to move this thing around now.

186908

Never had a tail vise , not sure how much I would use it, so thought I might try this little one from veritas.

186909

Kept my sliding sharpening station- not pretty but it works....

186910

Now to figure out where to put some dog holes and configure a deadman.
Maybe it's never actually completely DONE!

Beautiful job! I think you'll love the tail vise. I use mine all the time. Also useful for spreading for disassembly after a dry fit!

A deadman, on the other hand, I found useless, and I know a lot of other people who built them and feel the same. I'd skip it and keep your front open.

Mark, you'll use that end vise pretty frequently. I would advise you to make a dog for each dog hole. Makes it a lot easier to secure a board for planing because you have a dog right at hand.

Next is a Moxon vise for your dovetailing adventures.
