Its a little known fact that cleaning surface rust from old tools releases pheromones that induce a sense of joy and contentment.

Nice job!

Yeah but the sides effects are that burning desire to grab onto more and more rusty old tools and fix 'em up.

Nice job on the saw. What's next on the list????

I predict Matt is going to start adding Bedrock planes.

He had that "look" in his eyes at one of the nicer Bedrock 608C jointer planes :)

Sir,

You have inspired me to finally take on my Stanley #7.

I dug around the junk pile at work and "procured" an ATX power supply. It has already been shorted to turn on with out a motherboard, so all I should have to do is snip a few yellow and black wires, check the voltages just to be sure, and I should be on my way.

Not sure if I have a plastic container big enough to hold a #7.

:icon_thum Very nice!

If you cant find a container that fits, just do, one end at a time! Takes a little longer, but.....

Make sure to take before and after pics! For a tool gloat!

Good Luck!

Sir,

Lowes sells plastic storage bins pretty cheap!

You can also take some 2x and frame a box and line with plastic! I saw a guy do that for the top to an old Uni-saw!
