Just in the "Nick" of Time!

Well....I didn't think that I would get this done in time for Christmas, but everything seemed to be going my way this past few days!

I made a duplicate of a night stand I had constructed for my oldest daughter back in spring. (Poplar, Birch Ply and oak top and drawer front. Stained the oak with Minwax Pecan stain and gave it three coats of poly.) My daughter was married in July so .........needed another night stand for my new son-in-law. Now they have a matching pair!

Funny thing! I had all of carcass built and ready to finish last week. It took most of this week to do just the finishing! (Not one of my favorite woodworking tasks!:BangHead: )

Very nice Wayne :eusa_clap :eusa_clap Your DIL & SIL will be proud to receive that. I have always found that once you've finished the piece it takes twice the time to finish the piece, but it is the finish that gets twice the attention :-D :-D
