Welcome to the NC Woodworkers Forum. I live in Hendersonville as well and would like to invite you to attend the next meeting of the Western NC Woodworkers Association this Saturday at Klingspor's Woodworking Shop on Rutledge Road in Arden, just off Airport Road. We meet the second Saturday of each month from 9:30 to Noon with a program of interest for woodworkers. This coming meeting will feature a discussion on using Digital Readout devices for woodworking. Hi Hank, you can check out my website at www.stackwoodworks.com which is basically just a portfolio of work I completed during my time at Haywood. It's a good reminder to update things every once and a while, hah! Wiley's writeup of the Professional Crafts program is much more eloquent than anything I could say here, but I will echo his sentiments that completing it gave me the skills necessary to overcome the herculean task of building furniture for a profit.
