I just finished this Queen Anne Dressing Table.

Primary Wood; Curly Cherry
Secondary Wood; Ash
Hardware; Queen Anne bail pulls from Horton Brasses
Finish; General Finishes Enduro Var II, six coats, rubbed down between each coat with progressively finer Scotch Abrasive Pads

I was looking for a somewhat smaller table for a specific spot in my house and this worked out great. This is a sister piece to a Queen Anne Highboy I made a couple of years ago and they go together really nice.DSCN0014.JPGThanks for looking.

Wow! Awesome work and it looks like a very good pairing with the highboy. How did you make the sunrise flutes (is that the proper term even?) radiating out from the center knob in the lower half? Was that all chisel work?

I used to own a Queen Anne Victorian home...... So seeing the "Queen Anne" moniker will always leave me thinking how much a pain it was that house was to work on. :D
