The German equivalent of Wood magazine has a few new videos by Guido Henn (Google him...he has other videos which are awesome) on a Norm Clone Router Table with some interesting twists.

The Bow Hold-down, Scizzor jack w/handwheel for raising/lowering, Dust/Safety shield made out of a CD tower lid and the sloping fence that comes right up to the bit for freehand work all are new to me.

Is the ratcheting feature on the collet a festool exclusive? Never seen that before.

First, Norm didn't invent this type of router table, American Woodworker did (back in the black and white days.) Norm visited their workshop and "borrowed some design elements." I even had some input into Norm and AWW's design. Original AWW table had snap switch mounted horizontal. I suggested that it be vertical to prevent accidental turn on. Norm took it further with a push button switch.
