Are you using a template for the lettering or just free-handing with a router?

I am using a MilesCraft Sign Crafter set. I also got the extra bushings with the brass inserts, they seem to work a bit better. I do need to get a better router as I am using an older crapsman err I mean craftsman and the bearing is worn or junk and the arbor allows the bit to drift a little if that makes sense. ( acts as if the bearing is worn out) But the router has not had much use at all. Thanks for the comments. Steve
