    Materials- 1 x 6 ash 24" long is plenty Ash is what I had on hand just about anything clear should work. stick of 3/16" dowel from BORG, hobby or craft supply store.

    Templates and tools required also ended up using a small mallet and a flat file. a narrow sanding block could serve in place of the file

    I added instructions for cutting puzzles in the "How To" forum. I went ahead and wrote it from memory rather than as I started a new one. Let me know if there are gaps or some area that I need to do a better job in describing a step.
