    Celtic Knot for Me, too...

    I didn't want to high jack Sawduster's thread, so here's mine. I made this pen in March of 2011. I made the cuts on a 10" miter saw by holding the blank against a board which I had mitered at 30 degrees. In case you can't visualize that, that is my fingers WAY too close to a 10" saw blade...

    I have been trying to pull this off for the better part of 3 weeks now....making a jig, making it again and again :BangHead: tweaking my table, my drilling jig , putting lifts in my shoes ...wearing no shoes at all , you get the idea . This is the closest I have come so far . The pen is walnut...

    Hello NCWW's, I have made a Celtic knot pen before after seeing Alex's Video. But has anyone turned a Celtic knot in a Bowl blank solid or Segmented Turning? It just came to me and sounded really good in my head~! :widea: :dontknow:
