Where To find draw knife reasonable price?

Hi Folks, I am in need of a draw knife for a couple of projects that I have coming up. I have been looking at new but they are a bit pricey for what I know will not get a lot of use. Anyone know where I might find one at a reasonable price? Thanks. Steve

It may be more expensive but from what I have seen your best buy may very well be a new one---------antique shops are really proud of worn out and abused draw knives.

If you're not in a hurry, you can usually pick one up at an estate auction very cheap. Go to auctionzip.com and enter your zip code to find auctions in your area.

I have seen many (and purchased a few) at antique shoppes that have tools for sale. I think that would be your best bet. Usually very reasonably priced and "mature"!!!!

+1 for Ed's store above the Woodwright's School. His stuff is always reasonably priced. Not always a bargain, but always reasonable.

Jim Bode also carries old hand tools but is a tad more expensive at times.
