I thought I would let you all know that I am speaking at the Western Piedmont Woodcrafters meeting this Saturday morning. Here is there press release. Come on by if you can and hear me talk about saw blades.

SELECTION, USE, AND CARE OF SAW BLADES


IS TOPIC OF AUGUST WOODCRAFTERS MEETING


How to select the proper saw blade for the job, and how to inspect and maintain your saw blades will be demonstrated in detail at the Saturday August 22 meeting of the Western Piedmont Woodcrafters. The group will meet at 10 a.m.at the Klingspor Woodworking Shop in Hickory.
Conducting the session will be Tom Ferone of the Freud Tool Company. Mr. Ferone is the Southeast Woodworking Specialist for Freud, and has years of experience in woodworking and about a year in the sharpening and repair of different types of saw blades. He will demonstrate different types of blades for different types of cuts and materials, and blades for cutting other materials such as laminates, plastics, and metals. He will also discuss the care, sharpening, and repair of blades.
Woodcrafters President Robert Sauer urges anyone with an interest in woodworking to attend the meeting. The Woodcrafters Club is made up of hobbyist and professional woodworkers of all skill levels. The club meets once each month to hear speakers and to see demonstrations of woodworking equipment, projects, and techniques.
The Klingspor Woodworking Shop is located between Route 70 and Tate Boul-evard at 856 21st Street Drive in Hickory.

That is really cool Tom. :eusa_clap:eusa_clap:eusa_clap Christy and I really enjoyed talking tools with you in the Freud van at the picnic. I wish I could make it to your speech, but I do strongly encourage anyone in the area to go and listen. :icon_thum
