shop Workbench Pre - Pt1..... "The Table Top"

Here is a White Oak Table Top for a work bench I going to make..........

Naturly It's still in the ruff stage...:eusa_thin but that is a 17" wide x 8/4 x 16' long White Oak Plank
I think it will do the job...

If only you had a wooden jointer plane.....

I just got a 22" Jointer....
but it don't seem to work on the 22" side.....but only on the 3" side...:icon_scra hmmmmm I wonder if the inst manual is still available, it will say what i'm doing wrong....????

I suspect its would work better on the a pull stroke than a push stroke.

Naw, it will be about 8ft long. He's gonna double the thickness of the top to 4". :widea: :wconfused:
