I am looking for a copy of the Sept. '08 Issue American Woodworker. There is an article about a cabinet for under the lathe. I have an idea for one, but would like to see if I can garner some knowledge from this previous solution to make my project a little easier.

Yes. This one uses 2" PVC for the tool sleeves.
