Refinished Mahogany Bed

This is the bed I got from Jerome Bias last year. I stripped, disassembled, reglued, then stained with BLO, sprayed with 5 coats of lacquer, then buffed.

I forgot to mention that I had to make the side rails and that Mike Davis made two of the post filials.

I just saw this bed in Jim's shop. The pictures don't do it justice. The finish is really extraordinary.

I need to spend some time with Jim learning to make a finish like that.
