Recent small project for a wedding

LOML and I made this for a family members wedding a few weeks ago. It's made from Cedar with Purple Heart trim, acrylic paints, wood burned designs, and GF WB poly for a top coat.




This pic with a lot of glare shows the sparkles in the paint that you can see in person.

Nicely done for the newlyweds!

My artsy-craftsy wife often does a similar thing with wedding or birth announcements. I get to make the plaques to her specs and she topcoats the whole 3D arrangement with a product called Modge Podge.
