Take this for what it is worth from a newbie scroller but the pinned end would have killed it for me. Just in the little bit that I have done I couldn't have done several of the pieces with a pinned end blade. Hope that helps. Now if it can be upgraded to pinless ends I would offer less than $50 and see if he would take it. I don't know if it can be upgraded or not.

It's probably also single speed. I'd put the money toward a variable speed, pinless saw. If you really plan on scrolling I'd go as high as I could manage. Saws run in groups - around $100, $250ish, $500, $500+. You usually get what you pay for in a scroll saw, so it depends on how much you plan on using it.

This is no bargain for this saw. This might be ok to cut out a puzzle but Pinless blades are the only way to go if you want to do serious scroll work.

Thanks everyone, Saved me $50. I guess I will keep it until I find another good deal on a Bandsaw, thats what I really want right now anyway. I sure wish I would have bought Skysharks. Shouldn't have second thought it.

Thanks again everyone,
