I was on a non-woodworking site (yes, they do exist) this morning and found pen and pencil covers. You take the caps of stick pens/pencils and put them inside of the fancy holders. I don't if they have mechanisms in them - for a mere $29 they can be individually purchased. Thought these might be interesting for ya'll to try.
