Hello all,

I stumbled on this site while searching for replacement hinges for my old 3/8" inset cabinet doors, it's good to see someplace like this dedicated to the local community!

Regardless, I'm trying to update the hinges on my old 3/8" inset kitchen cabinets and I really wanted to use the euro style hinges, but there does not seem to be a cost effective way to do so. All I could find were these at $25 per pair... no thanks:

I have found the following Knife hinge from Youngdale that looks promising and they are only $3 per set:

These look good, but I've never worked with a Knife Hinge before so I'm a bit apprehensive...

Are there any other options out there?

Although I don't have an answer to your question, I would like to take the time to welcome you to the site & ask that you spend a few minutes posting a thread in our 'Who We Are' Forum telling us about yourself. We'd like to know!

Clarke,

Contact the Wurth Group in Charlotte and get a price on the European style hinge. It should be a lot better. And please follow up on the suggestion from Dennis.

I steer clear of ordering hinges from Rockler. Not because of quality, but because of price. I would definitely call Wurth group to see what they have. If they have nothing, try calling/contacting www.wwhardware.com. They have a good variety and a large selection.
