I'm looking for vice I can use for both front and sides for my 36"x20" knockdown workbench. Since it isn't large I was trying to find something for the scale of the bench. Does anyone know how the woodriver vice is?

Any opinions on what to use? I don't really want to spend a ton since I am not sure it will make the trip when we move to Amsterdam.

Does anyone have a wood threading setup? I would also consider making the whole thing but the tool to make the threads is as expensive as the vice.....

On a previous bench, I used pipe clamps and never liked them. It ended up being a hassle to build and then adjusting the clamps open wasn't easy enough. After using a real bench vice I'm sold on having one for hand work.

How about one like this? It's easy to install and you could remove it and take it with you if you move. I have the 7" Grizzly version and it's worked well for me.
