Join from the south eastern part of the state

Joined the group two weeks ago. Joined the new user chat last night. Retired to NC from MN so you really don't know what a bad winter can be here in NC. I am retired. My wife and I built our retirement home here starting 2009 and completing it in 2011. We were on site throughout the building process working everything fr0m carpenter work, painting and staining and did most of the electrical. Have a stand alone shop and plan to finish up that last remaining details on the trim in the house and turn to building furniture and things for the grand kids. Currently looking for a good supplier of hardwoods in this part of NC. It is nice to be a warmer part of the states.
