Charles, Eagle is a bit of a magician with his pens and there is no 'twisting' of the woods here...it's all slight of hand. :rolf:

I have "bent" veneers in some of my blanks in the past but not in this one.
The veneers are inlayed"straight" in a hex blank.
When they are turned on a lathe the result is a "twisted" appearance.
I assure you these are all straight when glued up.

The pieces you put in your work are so often only so much sawdust for me, it is amazing what you can do with that!
