Just finished this little chap this morning.

Top finial is Spalted maple dyed Rosewood
Ball is Spalted maple and hollowed out for lightness
"Icicle" is Iron wood (Am. Hornbeam)

Promise I won't post anymore for a while.....

Very nice. How thin did you make the walls? We had a guy give a demonstration to TWA one year and he made one of those in front of us! I want to say he took it down to about 1/16th or so, but I do not recall for sure. I do remember it felt like we were handling an egg shell. You did a very good job on that.:thumbs_up:thumbs_up
