Help With Cloudy Finish

Any help appreciated for this table shelf. It has several coats of rattle can lacquer with cloudy spots showing through. The white spots visible in the photo are what is showing through the finish.

Yep, you have moisture in your finish. It happens when the humidity is high and it’s very warm. The finish dries on the surface before the moisture has a chance to evaporate.

Thanks for the link and other help. My quickest route was to take the finish off with a scraper and go to another finish.

I just re sanded and finished it in my shop with the air conditioning down. Worked great. I had moved outside due to better light and did not understand about the humidity issues with lacquer
