I had one of those for a while about 15 or so years ago. It can be very smooth running. Larger sign shops, pattern shops, and architectural millwork houses used to use them a lot. I think that seller will be listing that for a while. They are just as intimidating up close as it looks in the photo when one considers it also is called a "scroll saw".

Actually the blades for them come in a big roll. You actually make them with the saw!!! Yes really, look at the lower left corner, there are several odd looking critters on the machine. What they are is the cutter,welder,and grinder. Like any bandsaw each has a blade length, you cut the length that will make the blade,butt the ends in the welder, ZAP em, hit the anneal button, then with the little grinder make the weld flat.
