Very old hand saw Vise. Henry Disston & Sons is imprinted on the iron. Very good condition for the age.

A quick look on the bay says that is a decent price for a collectable, but you can get user ones for less.

That is way too much to pay for a saw vise! I have a dozen saw vises and never paid more than $25 (don't ask about shipping!). I would look on Ebay for a Wentworth No. 2. These are 12 inches wide. The No. 1 is 9 1/2". The Wentworth is nice because it has a cam handle which clamps and releases with just a slight turn of the handle.
