Got Bugs???

8-O Hi everybody, I am in the prosess of cutting some SYP for a guy and it's covered with these. They look like maggots.

What are they and should I kill everything around to get rid of them?? Also what should I use to kill them and any other bugs that show up?? I don't want a bunch of lumber to be contaminated.

termites.
get some salt and salt the artea now and you may save some problems.
i put salt down twice yearly around my wood stack and have stopped them cold

Those are termites rock salt with fix em up real nice.

Stick it next to a fire ant nest. Fire ants love to take over termite homes and eat the termites. Of course, later you will have to kill the fire ants.
