Felt Tip Pen Kits?

My google skills let me down if there is.

I've got some friends that want one for a wedding pen, to sign picture matting with.

I have not seen a felt tip pen "kit", but I have seen felt tip refills for rollerball pens.

What do you think guys think about a roller ball for signing the matting? I've never written with one.

I think a good quality rollerball refill like a Schmidt 888 would work well. They write very smoothly and require no pressure at all. I'm sure the felt tip refill would be great as well. I'm not sure how well the stock refill in the kit would perform in this application.

The felt tip pens that are used for this are usually archival pens, non acid, slow deteriorating. You would probably be better off looking into some refills used for scrapbooking.
