Epoxy

Never used and need a clear finish on top of water base stain, which is on 3/4 plywood. What is best brand for easy of use and a good clear durable finish.

My experience is too recent to comment on durability but Total Boat brand epoxy with the slow hardener to be the clearest I've used. It is water clear. They have several different hardeners including one labeled "Crystal Clear" but their own website recommends the slow hardener for the clearest finish so that's what I got. WEST has tested their products over various finishes if you want to check out that info. I've found WEST to have a cast ranging from amber to pinkish.
