Can anyone tell me where I can get wood dried in a kiln. I have 4 walnut posts for a custom bed but it's full of moisture and have no idea where to take it. HELP!

Joe, not sure where to tell you to go in Charlotte, but I'll bump you up to the top and hopefully someone will chime in.

Kyle dries a lot of walnut; he would definitely be the best person to talk to.

In all liklihood, you may be better off purchsing some stock that is already KD as opposed having your existing stock dried. This is due to the time required as well as the fact that it's not a good idea to mix different thicknesses of green wood in the same kiln run.

Joe,

I hope you get up with Kyle and everything works out. Feel free to stick around the forums and be involved. Sounds like a great project that you're working on. :icon_thum
