I went to the Pittsboro Habitat for Humanity store yesterday, and they have a Craftsman floor standing drill press (1/3 HP) for $75. It looks to be in good shape except there is some issue with where the support pole connects to the base. It is wobbly down there. This machine is in the back area (go into the building and take a left through the double doors.)

They also have a good selection of vintage tools. Several T-handle augers, an old level (missing a vial), and some other stuff. I bought an old draw knife that has the whole blade tapered instead of just the chisel edge on the newer ones.

They also have lots of new painting supplies, but they are price as new.

Ha! Durham ReUse Store on Shannon has an old DeWalt RAS priced at $300 :swoon:

Actually, it's a great place but they rarely have tools. Like you said Dan, they frequently have cabinets, furniture, and lots of books :icon_thum

And the 10th, 20th, and 30th of each month is 20% off :gar-Bi
