Drill bits

I drill a lot of 7 & 8 mm holes. I've been using the bits you get at places like Woodcraft, Rockler or Klingspor - the ones you pay 6-8 bucks for.

I recently ordered some bits from an outfit called Stormcube. You get 5 bits for 6 bucks and change. That 5 bits for the price of one. They seem pretty good. Measure up right. Sharp. Not sure about the steel or how long they'll last, but I think these will work out good in the long haul.

Looks like a good deal for general use brad point in MM, I might just order a set and see how they work out.

Are they straight? I got some Colt bits from Infinity and the 5/16" & 3/8" where off about 1/16". I ended up chucking them in my hand drill backwards so I could grind the chuck end while running the drill to get them so they would spin straight. A metal lathe would have been nice, but I don't have access to one anymore.
