Lowe's has the Dewalt DWS779 on sale for $349 - 12" sliding miter saw. Saw one in stock today at the S Charlotte Lowe's on Ballentyne Commons Pkwy. The newer DWS780 model is still $599

I have a DeWalt DWS779 I purchased in November 2017 that is unused and still in the sealed box if anyone is interested in purchasing. I will sell it for $350 (save yourself the tax). I can provide the receipt for warranty purposes. I am in the Wake Forest area.
