It has been a while since I posted project but I’m glad to have something to share again:
This Christmas I designed and built a c-table for a friend. I had a great piece of jatoba that was given to me probably a decade ago that worked perfectly.
Here is a picture of the final table in its intended use:
The bottom is about an inch a en a half thick for weight. The top is planed down to 3/4 or so.
The two pieces are held together with 5 turned maple posts. The posts are fixed with wedged tenons.
Unfortunately due to COVID I have not been able to gift the table yet but I am very happy with how it turned out. Thanks for looking!
